Summer Book Study: Effective Universal Instruction Book Study
The Reading League chapter network is excited to bring you a unique learning opportunity this summer! Join chapters nationwide for a self-guided book study on Effective Universal Instruction by Drs. Gibbons, Brown, and Niebling. We'll kick things off on Mon., June 17 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT with a live, virtual session featuring Dr. Stephanie Stollar sharing MTSS as the essential implementation tool for the science of reading.
Each Monday for the next five weeks, you'll receive an email with a pacing guide, recorded videos with the authors to deepen your understanding of each chapter, and links to additional resources related to the content. You can read, watch, and explore on your own time - whenever it works best for you! Save your questions and insights as you read because we'll wrap up this summer of learning with another live Zoom session with authors Dr. Kimberly Gibbons and Dr. Sarah Brown on Mon, July 29 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT.
All you need to do is register once for the book study, and we'll send you the Zoom links and weekly resources to make this an impactful learning opportunity. As a bonus, at the end of the book study, you'll also receive a professional development guide that you can use to bring all of this knowledge back to your school teams! We hope you'll learn more about this action-oriented approach to improving Tier 1 with us this summer.
